"I honestly didn't know what I expected to find when I started going through the old records, sorting through what was salvageable and what was too burnt to bring back to the library. But these records are far beyond what I expected to find, almost like something out of a story book someone was trying to convince themselves was real.
There are records and diagrams here that are notated in languages that have long fallen out of use, with field drawing and samples coming from different planet. If I wasn't sure if the portals me and Raven found all those months ago were real, this would probably convince me. The portals themselves are nothing more than ruined archways now, but the etchings and fragments around them match the writings I found within the chests hidden within the stones. Not to mention the dwellings in the network of caves the Portal Chambers is connected too, the Moonborn clan created a home similar to those of ants, a network of tunnels and caves.
There are several books and items that have minimum damage to them, so I'm hopeful for finding more as I comb through this. I guess I'll just have to see what I can find through this, but for now it's just going through rooms and making notes and sketches for me to reference later.
